Midnight Raven Games LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located in Lehi, Utah, United States, operates Bat Panic. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you play Bat Panic, use its connected services, or contact us.
For privacy questions or requests, email ravenmasqueradegames@gmail.com.
Bat Panic uses Unity Authentication to create and maintain player accounts. Guest accounts receive a unique player identifier without requiring you to provide a name or email address. Guest accounts still have associated account and gameplay data.
On supported Android devices, you may choose to sign in with Google Play Games or link your guest account to Google Play Games. Google and Unity process the player identifiers and authentication information needed to verify your identity and connect your Google Play Games identity to your Bat Panic account. This includes authentication codes or tokens used in the sign-in process.
We use this information to authenticate you, maintain your account, restore access to associated progress, and support account linking. We do not receive your Google password. Our Google Play Games integration does not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, calendar, or personal Google Drive documents.
Google user data is used to provide account authentication and the connected game features described in this policy. We do not sell Google user data or use it for targeted advertising.
We store game information associated with your player account, including:
Game progress, difficulty unlocks, and best scores.
Coin and gem balances.
Unlocked and selected bats, backgrounds, and other cosmetics.
Consumables, extra lives, and related transactions.
Completed tutorial prompts and gameplay preferences.
Information needed to synchronize progress and prevent duplicate transactions.
Unity Cloud Save stores account-associated game data. Unity Cloud Code processes server-managed actions such as premium purchases, purchase validation, refunds, and account deletion.
The game also stores account-specific progress caches, sign-in/session information, and preferences on your device to support session restoration and synchronization. Some device preferences, such as sound settings, are independent of your account.
Google Play processes payments for Android in-app purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
Bat Panic, Google Play, and Unity services process purchase information such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase receipts or tokens, purchase timestamps, fulfillment status, and refund status.
We use this information to verify purchases, deliver purchased content, prevent duplicate grants, reconcile refunds, investigate purchase problems, and protect against fraud. Purchase records are associated with your player account. A purchase-token hash is used to identify server-held purchase records, and an obfuscated account identifier is supplied to Google Play to associate purchases with the correct player account.
Bat Panic and the Unity services it uses process technical information needed to operate and maintain the game. This includes player, device, installation, or session identifiers; device and operating-system information; app versions; IP addresses; approximate location derived from network information; crash and error information; and performance diagnostics.
We use this information to operate connected services, troubleshoot failures, measure service performance, improve reliability, and protect accounts and purchases. Approximate location information may be derived from an IP address; Bat Panic does not request precise GPS location for these purposes.
Our custom diagnostic logs record information such as operation durations, outcomes, error codes, and generated request-correlation identifiers. They are designed to exclude passwords, authentication tokens, purchase receipts, raw purchase tokens, and saved gameplay contents.
When you contact us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and any other information you voluntarily provide. We use this information to respond, investigate problems, verify account ownership when necessary, and complete privacy or deletion requests.
Please do not send passwords, Google sign-in codes, full payment-card details, or identity documents.
Account identifiers, connected-service processing, and cloud game data are needed for Bat Panic’s account and connected features. Google Play Games sign-in and linking are optional; you can use a guest account. Real-money purchases and contacting support are also optional.
We use Google and Unity services to provide Bat Panic:
Unity Authentication provides player accounts and authentication.
Unity Cloud Save stores progress, balances, ownership, and account-associated purchase records.
Unity Cloud Code processes server-side game actions, purchase verification, refunds, and deletion.
Unity In-App Purchasing and Google Play support in-app purchase processing and fulfillment.
Google Play Games supports optional Google-connected sign-in.
Information is disclosed to these providers as needed to perform these functions. Providers may also process information for their own purposes where described in their policies.
Read their privacy policies here:
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Bat Panic does not display advertisements.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
We retain your active player account and associated game data until you delete your account. We do not automatically delete accounts solely because they are inactive.
We delete resolved support emails and attachments within 12 months after resolution, unless continued retention is necessary for a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute. This includes resolved account-deletion correspondence.
Unity Cloud Code’s logging service provides seven days of log retention, as described in Unity’s logging documentation. This period applies to those Cloud Code logs; it does not describe the retention of every Unity service record, provider backup, or Google transaction record.
Records independently controlled by Google or Unity, including their operational, security, transaction, or backup records, are subject to the relevant provider’s retention practices and legal obligations.
You can delete your Bat Panic account through Settings → Delete Account in the game.
You can also request deletion without reinstalling the game through our public page:
Bat Panic — Account and Data Deletion
For an emailed request, we may need to verify account ownership. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days after verifying ownership and confirm completion by email. If we cannot locate or verify the account, or need additional information, we will contact you.
Account deletion permanently removes your Bat Panic account and its associated active game data, including saved progress, coins, gems, unlocks, consumables, and purchase records stored with the game account. Successful in-app deletion also clears the deleted account’s sign-in credentials and progress/premium caches on that device. Device preferences independent of the account may remain.
Deleting your Bat Panic account does not delete your Google account or Google Play Games profile. It does not automatically issue a refund or remove records independently retained by Google or Unity under their policies.
Logging out or uninstalling Bat Panic does not itself delete your cloud account or cloud progress.
We use authenticated connections, encrypted transmission, and access controls to help protect information. No electronic system can guarantee complete security.
We operate in the United States. Google and Unity may process information in other countries according to their service arrangements and privacy policies. Applicable legal protections govern international transfers where required.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to restrict or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
Email ravenmasqueradegames@gmail.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling it. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.
Bat Panic is intended for players 13 years and older and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or below a higher age where applicable law requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information without required consent, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy as the game, our practices, or applicable requirements change. We will publish updates on this page and revise the effective date. We will provide additional notice where required.
